Go True North With Blue Nautical Stars Guitar Hero Skin

Rockers everywhere are drawing closer to the sailors nautical stars, but for a slightly different reason. Sailors used the stars at night to navigate the bountiful oceans. One star in particular was "the" star of choice, the north star. They correlated the north star with a means to find their way home. Once they knew where it was, they could point their boat in the right direction and sail their water-logged butts back home. Thus the reasoning for a homeward bound star.

Rockers, more specifically punk-rock, have adopted this star but for a different meaning. Instead of being meant to find your way home, it's more of a way to find your way in life. Most punkers are individualists. Have their own style, own sense of self and the nautical star gives them just that meaning. A way to find one's own unique, individual way in life. Just look at some punk bands. Check their style. If they are true you'll see a star symbol somewhere. Check the tats! I've seen them on the chest, fully covering the elbows and even above the navel on the abs. True to yourself, true to the cause, true north, the north star.

Do you have a dream, know who you are, are you an individualist, a "punker"? Then this is the perfect guitar hero skin for you. Stay true to yourself, true to the cause, true north with th blue nautical star guitar hero skin.

Custom Guitar Hero Skin - Van Halen

Get creative and create your own custom guitar hero skin. Take this one as an example. Love Van Halen? Think Eddie Van Halen is one of the greatest guitarists ever? Why not create your own custom gutiar hero faceplate and turn loose a little eruption on your own.

It's fairly simple really. This one just requires a detachable faceplate which can be in the realm of $40, some paint (choose your favorites), and some painters tape. You could get off cheaper finding a way to use some contact paper or something like it that you can stick on, but the faceplate is a much cleaner alternative. Here's a great example of one and how they created it. Looks pretty good.

Slap Me Southern Guitar Hero Skin

A tribute to the history and legacy of southern rock, from the likes of the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Charlie Daniels Band, .38 Special as well as to southern rockers themselves comes this beautiful confederate rebel flag guitar hero skin. Probably one of the more famous rockers who played a guitar painted this way that comes to mind would be the late Dimebag Darryl from one of the hardest bands, Pantera! Another notable that plays a confederate flag guitar would be the equally hard and smooth stroker Zakk Wylde that has played not only with Ozzy Osbourne but has gone on to form a force of a band of brothers, Black Label Society. Are you southern enough to rock out with your axe sporting a rebel flag?
This guitar hero skin also comes in all the following flavors for guitar hero:

The Little Stinker

A guitar hero skin in the toxic series by AMR Racing. I really dig the radioactive symbols that are all over the base and head faceplates. Simply classic with a very large and predominant gray gas mask that looks to be inlaid in some sort of aesthetically appealing sun emblem. Very nice design that says stand back cause I'm fixing to lay down some licks!

This guitar hero skin is available for all flavors of guitar hero including guitar hero 3.
